Daima Research Lab

Welcome to Dr. Hemant Kumar Daima's "Nanomedicine and Nanotoxicity Research Laboratory," where our focus lies in advancing the field of functional organic and inorganic nanomaterials. Our research is dedicated to the development of cutting-edge technologies for drug and gene delivery, biosensing, cancer management, inflammation control, targeting multi-drug resistant (MDR) bacteria, nanozyme activities, and innovative medical devices. Our dedicated research team is also delving into the fundamental understanding of Nano-Bio interfacial interactions, with a specific emphasis on regulating nanotoxicity in functionalized materials.

Dr. Daima's pioneering work has demonstrated the significance of surface functionalization in controlling the exterior corona of nanomaterials. This corona plays a pivotal role in dictating the interactions of nanomaterials at the nano-bio interface. Our research findings have revealed guiding principles involved in the rational design strategies for nanomaterials in biomedical and agricultural applications.

Join our research team

Presently, Daima's Lab (Nanomedicine and Nanotoxicity Research Laboratory) is actively seeking enthusiastic PhD candidates and post-doctoral fellows to become valuable members of our interdisciplinary team. Join us as we push the boundaries of scientific discovery and contribute to the advancement of nanotechnology for a multitude of applications.
