2014 – 2016: Junior Research Fellow at DIHAR, DRDO, Working on projects related to the cognitive deficits induced on exposure to high altitude hypoxic conditions. Projects entailed animal experiments on simulated high altitude conditions with hypoxic chambers and evaluation of the molecular mechanisms leading to cognitive impairment in both in vitro and in vivo systems.

2013 – 2014: Research Fellow at NIT, Rkl. Project - “Integrating Polymorphisms and NGS in dissecting complex networks of miRNA- mediated regulation in neurodegenerative diseases” The project involved both bioinformatics work regarding ncRNA binding site prediction, promoter prediction, SNPs identification and wet lab validation using PCR, qPCR in cell culture models.

2010 – 2011: M.Sc. dissertation at NIT, Rkl, Project - “p53 and its isoforms in cancer epigenetics”, undertaken as part of M.Sc dissertation, Research involved evaluating the expression profile of p53 isoforms in cancer , leading to such deregulations.

May 2010: Summer Trainings at RGCB, Thiruvanatapuram, Indian Academy of Science (INSA) "Summer Research Fellowship‟ program, Project - “Augmenting pro-apoptotic activity of BAD in sensitizing Bcl-2 and Bcl-xL over-expressing cells to drugs2”. The training involved core molecular biology techniques like western blotting, PCR, mammalian cell culture, FACS, etc.
